Rustic rural farmhouse located approximately 5 miles off interstate 91. Our home was built in 1790 and the high ceilings, exposed beams, and built in fireplaces in 3 rooms will transport you back in time. The farmhouse sits directly next to a 1/2 acre man made swimming pond with a deck overlooking the pond. The VAST snowmobile can be accessed directly from the home. Nearby attractions include Burke Mountain, the White Mountains of NH, mountain biking on Kingdom trails, endless roads for gravel biking, snowmobiling, and local breweries.
Please keep in mind when booking that this home was built in 1790 and is rustic. No dishwasher or air conditioning. The home is heated with propane from a central vent near the kitchen, so bring those cozy slippers as some floors can feel cold especially in the winter. Our family lived here for 8 years and we just love the house and space, but if you have never stayed in a rustic farmhouse these things can be surprising.
