What is
required to reserve a property?
A 50% deposit
is required to secure a reservation.
The remainder is due 14 days prior
to arrival and will be charged to
the same card the deposit was made
on.
What is your cancellation
policy?
Cancellations received 14 or more
days prior to arrival are refundable
minus a 10% handling charge. There
are no refunds for cancellations
made less than 14 days in advance of
arrival.
Can you hold a property for me?
We are
unable to hold a property without a
reservation and deposit.
What if I get sick or there is a
death in the family etc and can’t
come?
We do
offer travel insurance through
TravelGuard, an AIG company. This
costs 7% of the total due and will
cover you once you are within 14
days prior to arrival in the case of
unforeseen injury, sickness or death
of you or any of your traveling
party or immediate family. Certain
restrictions apply; please call us
if you are interested in purchasing
this product.
Is there a security deposit
required?
A $500 damage deposit on condos, $1000 on houses
and $1500 on select luxury houses is
due upon check in. This is taken via
a credit card authorization and will
be released within 7 days after
departure provided there are no
damage issues.
What time can I check in/out?
Check in
time is guaranteed for 5PM. We make
every effort to have properties
ready before that but we can’t
promise anything before 5PM.
Check out is at
11AM. If nobody is checking in the
same day as you we can allow you to
check out at 1PM for no charge. To
get this later checkout you need to
call us the morning of your
departure to see if it is possible
as we can book a property right up
until that day. If nobody is
arriving after you we may be able to
allow a 5PM check out for a $50 fee.
You need to call the office the
morning of your departure to see if
this is available.
Are sheets and towels provided?
We provide
high quality linens and towels in
all our properties. When you arrive
the beds are made, bath towels, hand
towels, facecloths and bathmats are
in the bathrooms for your use. When
you leave you do not have to strip
the beds, just leave the linens
where they are and our housekeeping
staff will remove them.
There
is a washer and dryer in most
properties if you would like to wash
linens during your stay.
Do you provide daily housekeeping?
Daily
housekeeping service is not included
with our rentals but it is available
for an additional fee. We highly
recommend scheduling any cleaning
during your stay ahead of time.
Do you provide toilet paper, paper
towels, dishwasher detergent etc.?
We provide
at least 1 roll of paper towels in
the kitchen and at least 1 full roll
of toilet paper for each bathroom.
We provide a small amount of
dishwasher detergent, dish soap and
laundry detergent for your use. If
you require more we do not provide
it.
Does my property have a kitchen?
All of our
properties have full kitchens
stocked with pots, pans dishes,
silverware bowls and glasses. We
ensure that there is a coffee maker,
microwave, toaster and enough
plates, glasses and silverware to
serve the # of people the unit
sleeps. If you need something
special such as a blender, food
processor etc. we suggest you bring
it yourself.
Is there a fireplace in my rental
property?
All of our
properties have fireplaces. Most are
woodburning and firewood is provided
but not kindling or firestarters.
Some properties have gas fireplaces
that offer the aesthetic charm and
heat of a wood fireplace without the
work.
Do I need to bring soap, shampoo,
hairdryer etc. ?
We provide
some hotel style bar soap in the
bathrooms. Any other toiletries you
should bring yourself. If you
require a hair dryer, please bring
it along as we cannot guarantee that
there will be one in the property.
Can you send me directions directly
to our property?
For
security reason we cannot release
the address of a property until
someone physically checks in at our
office. We recognize the
inconvenience this may pose to some
people but it is a policy that we
have had to implement to protect our
employees and property owners
safety. We will be happy to leave
directions out at our office for
late arriving members of your party.
We have found
that because of the rural nature of
our area, online mapping services
and/or GPS systems are not always
reliable here. We highly recommend
that you use the written directions
we provide to supplement any
directions you get yourself. If your
directions or GPS differ in some way
from the written ones we provide,
please follow our directions.
Oftentimes GPS systems have routed
people onto rural dirt roads that
may be shorter mileage-wise, but can
be dangerous in poor weather and out
of cell phone range.
Are pets allowed in your properties?
No pets are
allowed in any of our properties. If
we find that you have or had
pets in our rental properties you
will be subject to a $100 per day
fine and/or eviction without refund.
Do you have smoking rooms available?
There is
no smoking allowed in any of our
properties. Evidence of smoking
inside any of our properties will
result in a $200 fine taken from the
security deposit and/or eviction
without refund. You can smoke
outside on a balcony or patio as
long as cigarette butts are disposed
of properly.
Is there a pool or hot tub available
to use?
We have a wide
variety of properties available for
rent, many of which offer sport
centers with pools and some offer
private hot tubs. If this is
something you would like, please be
sure to inquire about it prior to
booking.
Is there WiFi in our property?
We do have a limited selection of
properties with free WiFi available
in the property, please be sure to
ask for one if you need it. Many
condo associations have WiFi
available in their clubhouses and
there is free WiFi available in all
Mount snow base lodges and at our
office.
Is there a phone provided?
A
phone with free local service is
provided for your use, the phone #
is provided upon check in. There is
a long distance block on the phone,
if you need to call long distance
you will need to use a calling card
or a cell phone.
Can you arrange equipment rentals /
ski lessons for me?
Due to the
personalized attention needed to
book ski rentals and lessons we
can’t arrange them for you. We do
work with World Class Ski & Sport
for equipment rentals

. They are conveniently located near
our office and have prices 40% lower
than those you will get on the
mountain.

Where can I get groceries?
There
is a 7-11 with a state liquor store
on Rt 100 about 2 miles south of Mt
Snow. About 5 miles south of the
mountain there is the River Valley
Farm Market which has an excellent
produce department and meat counter.
About 8 miles from the mountain
there is a Shaws supermarket on Rt.
9 in Wilmington.
