Mountain Biking
Mount Snow is the
mountain bike
capital of the east! With 45 miles of lift serviced terrain and the latest equipment available for rent its no wonder the North American Mountain Bike Association has held championship events here every year since 1988.
Dining / Shopping
Most ski towns sprung up around a resort whereas the Mount Snow Valley was a tourist destination long before it was a ski area. The nearby towns of Dover, Wilmington, Wardsboro, Jacksonville and Halifax offer all that you would expect from a small country town. There are lots of antique stores, local
artwork, crafts and a very popular flea market open all summer. The area also offers excellent dining options for a wide variety of palettes and budgets. |
